Neil Huckstadt, General Manager of ColorFX Marketing Services of
Des Moines, initially wanted to increase light levels while reducing
energy consumption. With Adventure Lighting's help, he found
that he was not only able to reduce energy costs, but also receive
Mid-American Energy Rebates and substantially increase light levels.
This project will have a payback of less than two years. The
plant moved from a 460 watt fixture to a 222 watt T8 6-lamp high-bay
fixture. If you're coming out to the plant, Neil states,
"Bring your sunglasses!" In ColorFX's business, lighting is
everything. Neil would welcome any questions you may have
regarding this project. Feel free to call him at 515-299-1113.

Other advantages of the new fluorescent high bay system include instant-on lighting, and reduced lumen depreciation. Not only was Ralph Farnsworth, Warehouse Manager, thrilled with drastic energy savings, but he also feels that the improved light levels will reduce order filling errors.
